We took a "shower" in the FREEZING stream next to our site to get all clean for the Portland folks. Here is Kate braving the waters.
Then we visited the Newberry Volcano Monument outside of Bend, OR and saw an obsidian flow, which is glassy volcanic rock
and toured a lava tube, which is really a fancy name for a lava cave. Here is Kate with the lantern.
We also learned that if you are disabled do not come to Oregon.
We got to Portland around dark and met Josh and had a slumber party (!!) in his living room.
